Fig.1 Detection of SNCA expression in WT mice and hSNCA(2) mice by WB. α-synuclein (SNCA) was detectable at a similar level in hippocampus and cortex from both WT C57BL/6 and HE hSNCA(2) mice with an antibody which is cross-reactived between human and mouse SNCA. The hippocampus and cortex lysates were collected from 12-week-old female WT C57BL/6 mice and 7-week-old male heterozygous hSNCA(2) mice, and then analyzed by western blot with an anti-human/mouse SNCA antibody.
