Leukocytes were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (male, 15 weeks old) and homozygous hS100A9 humanized mice (male, famale, 15 weeks old), and analyzed by flow cytometry with anti-mS100A9 and anti-hS100A9. hS100A9 was exclusively detectable in hS100A9 humanized mice but not in wild-type mice. hS100A9 was exclusively detectable on neutrophil in hS100A9 humanized mice, whereas mS100A9 was exclusively detectable on neutrophil in wild-type C57BL/6 mice.
